At The Prepared Environment we go into your home, assess your physical space, evaluate how to help your child be more independent, and then help you implement those ideas.

We will look at trouble “spots” in your house or in your routine and assist you in smoothing out those areas, so your children do more and you are able to do less.

Let us help you, help them. 

We will help you use your house as a tool to improve your children’s self- confidence, self- reliance, and feel more connected to your family as a whole. Give your children the opportunity to practice setting the table, getting their own drinks and snacks, putting toys where they belong, picking their dirty clothes off the floor, and helping you fold laundry.

Allow them the chance to clean up their own spills, sweep up messes, and mop on their own.

Everything is a process but these steps with guidance, patience and the freedom to make choices will boost self-confidence and the ability to be self- reliant.
